We regularly host activites and events to spread awareness on various social issues, causes & concerns related to animal & human welfare. Here's a glimpse of our latest events & activities.
REFLECTIVE COLLAR CAMPAIGN
In light of the number of Animal accidents(hit and run cases) soaring in the city of Pune. Bodhisattva NGO started the reflective collar campaign in assosiation with Motopaws to be able to put reflective collars on as many street dogs as we can afford. Aimed at keeping our four legged friends safe in the city, a simple reflective collar will protect them by improving visibility in the dark.
DA HIGH SOUK
Bodhisattva NGO, in assosiation with Pune's youngest cafe The High Spirits, put together an Indie Flea Market that showcased a wonderful mix of up and coming brands from all across Pune. With stalls ranging from clothing, to baked goods, to home and personal accessories, It was a fun & frolic evening dedicated towards raising awareness about the animal & humal welfare activities undertaken by Bodhisattva.
WINTER CHARITY BALL 2015
Bodhissattva NGO organised an evening filled with Art, Music & Auction in association with MINI Infinitiy Cars & Euriska. The highlight of the evening was the Blindfolded painting by Ketan Jawdekar & sufi tunes of Kabir cafe. All the funds raised by means of ticked entry & auction was donated towards animal & human welfare in Pune.
THE JOY OF GIVING
The mathematics department of Wadia college in association with Bodhisattva NGO organised a Joy of giving campaign on 29 & 30 January 2016. Thanks to the student volunteers & the enthusiastic staff we were able to collect a lot of clothes which were then distributed to the needy.
INFOSYS FAMILY FAIR
Bodhisattva was at the Infosys family day street fair held on 19 December 2015.
It was such a pleasure to interact with young kids who are ever so curious to know about animals & the environment. We are glad that the children took so much interest in learning about these topics.
PETTING FARMS
Bodhisattva organizes petting farms at childrens birthday parties to help your children form a bond with animals. One such event was conducted on 1st Sept 2015
YOGA FOR A CAUSE
Bodhisattva was invited to raise funds by Ms. Chandana Bhowmik's Yoga open house & organised a Vegan Potluck

FUNDRAISERS
Fund Raising at private events such as weddings & birthdays - Bodhisattva NGO participates in private events such as birthday parties and weddings invited by friends and wellwishers. People who wish to contribute and support our cases on their special days and occasions.
FREEDOM MUSIC FESTIVAL
Bodhisattva organised a Fund Raiser at Tertullia Restaurant and Bar located at Koregaon Park to celebrate Independence day. The funds raised at the event were used for Street Dogs Sterilisation Program. 16th August 2015
JUNKYARD SALE
Bodhisattva NGO participated in the Junkyard Sale & Street Food Festival at Cocoparra with an objective to meet
enthusiastic Punekars willing to support our NGO by means of volunteering with us, donating or offering free services to the poor.
DISTRIBUTION OF CLOTHES & BLANKETS
Bodhisattva monthly distributes old clothes to the homeless people in various areas and we also provide them with blankets in the winter. Blanket Drive December 2014
FREE MEDICAL SERVICES
Bodhisattva believes in creating a community service attitude in the city by asking and encouraging professionals to offer free services to the poor. We have tied up with Doctors who wish to do Pro bono work with our organisation.

VACCINATION DRIVES
Bodhisattva collected funds on Facebook to be able to vaccinate street pups with 7in1 vaccinations to protect them from various diseases and infections.
Bodhisattva got Rabies vaccinations sponsored by the Local Pune Municipal Departments to vaccinate street pups and shelter dogs to protect them against Rabies.
STERILIZATION DRIVES
Bodhisattva has participated by volunteering and monitoring the ABC program in collaboration with Pune Municipal Department. Bodhisattva has also implemented ABC sterilization program independently with Private Doctors and private fosters.
ADOPTION CAMPS
Bodhisattva NGO in collaboration with Ramona Jadhav and ‘Pet Voices’ supports and participates in monthly adoption camps held at various venues . These Adoption camps are very well organised and have a superb success rate.
